What We Offer

Teachers assist students to access remote learning from their census (home) school, or plan learning activities and experiences for the students. Learning is based on stage/age appropriateness, the students' interests, any areas that need consolidation, and parental input. Learning during the morning sessions focus on literacy and numeracy skills, and the afternoon session focuses on science, technology, creative arts and wellbeing activities.

Students may attend the hospital school room. If this is not possible due to illness or injury, school staff will teach students at their bedside.  The school has a holistic approach to educating each student and provides Individualised Learning Plans (ILP's) based on syllabus outcomes in all key learning areas.  Learning programs are modified to suit the individual student within the constraints of the illness or injury.
